About Paige
I enjoy helping people improve their health and well-being using complementary therapies at my clinic, Bodyworks, in Lincoln’s city center. I am passionate about promoting holistic health care and empowering clients on their path to optimum health.
For the last twenty years, I have studied holistic health care. First for my own health and that of my young family, starting with classes in Homeopathic medicine, then with formal qualifications as a complementary therapist, and now I am in my final year of an BSc degree in Acupuncture at the University of Lincoln.
I have enjoyed Thai massage in Thailand, Shiatsu and acupuncture in Japan, Tai chi in Seattle with Master Yang, Reflexology in San Francisco’s Chinatown all of which informs my own practice. I love to learn and am a bit of a course/book-o-holic.
The blog is an opportunity to get my rusty writing/editing skills sharpened up and share some of the information that I feel might be useful to my friends and clients. Also as an eager student, I am exploring the rich and varied world of Chinese medicine and philosophy. I hope that perhaps in trying to explain it these new concepts to others, I might just understand it all a bit better myself!
Although I am originally from Seattle, Washington, I now live in Lincoln, England with my lovely husband and three brilliant teenage sons whom I adore, most days.
